                                             AICE Mediastudies Another Day of filming 


On Tuesday the 5th, I went back to filming. Again since I was alone it was more convenient for me as I was going on my own schedule. As the only person working on it I had costumes to show the different characters. There was a problem when I did however. I tried to pick a place where the weather was good however it was raining. The vehicles did not make the situation any better and the fact that I did not have an umbrella. A lot of things got wet such as my phone to record and my clothing. The hangout scene I wanted worked at its best during a sunny day however this weather ruined my plans. In the end I could not use the park I wanted for my hangout scene. So I had to go and film at home. This time it felt even more weird talking to nobody cause my entire family was not too far away from me and could probably hear everything I say.They probably thought it was crazy. It was a little worrying because I did not feel like it could work anywhere else besides the park. Though that problem was resolved rather quickly. I feel like being at home was a lot more comfortable for me since I am there everyday and know every place in the house as opposed to the park. However it still did not give the feeling of a hangout. Maybe if I was in the park like I intended to it would give the feeling I was hoping for. My main prop was a mask but that got wet so I had to find a replacement.My house was clean thankfully so that was not as worrying. The process took awhile but in the end I was able to finish although I did not like the final result. Being at home also meant having to help with chores which was a constant obstacle.The weather also changed back to being sunny  out of nowhere.However I was already done by that time. In short that second day was very rough and I had constant obstacles but I did manage to get everything done in the end.

This decision was mostly because I do not know anyone well and have not made a friend yet at this school. At first I considered it a downside.With a group we could split up the work and would require me to do less and focus on other things simultaneously. As a result of being alone it would cause me to have to do a lot of things on my own and getting adjusted to with certain tasks. The filming Homestretch(Production Blog) AICE Media Studies

 On Thursday, the 9th I started putting on the finishing touches to everything I had already filmed. At this point I have done all the  filming  by myself. I improved a lot on dancing and acting but now was the time to start to finish up. Slowly but surely I was able to get the hand of my steps and sins. I was able to have all the costumes prepared and ready to go. At this point all the props had fulfilled their purpose. I had all the clothing I needed to change into neat me for an easy and quick process. I made sure that the lighting was dark but not so dark that nothing could be seen. The background noise was kept to minimal which allowed for smooth recording. I got all of my scenes done the way I had envisioned it but I did make sure to keep practicing so it can be as good as possible.
