                                                     AICE Media Studies another day to edit


Came back to edit and some things went better than before.Everything was put in order already so I did not have to do that again. I noticed some things that I did yesterday that I was not ok with and made those changes.This included cutting even more things out, and adding things yet again.Some scenes felt incomplete and I did not know how to fix it.I do not know if I cut too much or maybe recorded a bit too little but it felt off in some way.Once I got back on my phone to start editing I made sure of one thing before continuing. The scene where I  had to duplicate heads was one where I kept checking before I even started the other scenes. It did give me a little less time to work on the other scenes but it never left my mind because I felt this scene required the most editing. Last time I edited I felt like there were scenes I needed to do.This time I felt there were even more scenes I had to redo and even more mistakes I made that I did not notice before. I went back and did the voices again but when I did it again it felt worse and I lost the old clip so I had to keep going and going till I got fed up with it.At this point I was not confident in anything but I had to make the best out of a bad situation.Last time I had no idea what I was doing as I am not familiar with video editing but this time I took a different approach.I went on Youtube and tried to learn some things about the app I was using to edit the video. I learned how to use a green screen and how to layer images on top of one another. I also learned how to make the background I wanted for the germ spreading scene.Eventually I retried the voices again but I still could not find one I was confident with. I took one that I thought was the best and rolled with it. I also learned about erasing backgrounds which really helped with scenes 4 and 6.I could not find out how to change the shirt colors which would have been helpful but I did make great progress. Overall I am fine with the amount of editing I have done so far and I think I've done somewhat of a good job.

                                               AICE Media Studies Group Blog For this project I will be working by myself. This decision was mostly because I do not know anyone well and have not made a friend yet at this school. At first I considered it a downside.With a group we could split up the work and would require me to do less and focus on other things simultaneously. As a result of being alone it would cause me to have to do a lot of things on my own and getting adjusted to with certain tasks. I feel like the most challenging part of this project especially with going solo would have to be the filming. The filming Homestretch(Production Blog) AICE Media Studies

 On Thursday, the 9th I started putting on the finishing touches to everything I had already filmed. At this point I have done all the  filming  by myself. I improved a lot on dancing and acting but now was the time to start to finish up. Slowly but surely I was able to get the hand of my steps and sins. I was able to have all the costumes prepared and ready to go. At this point all the props had fulfilled their purpose. I had all the clothing I needed to change into neat me for an easy and quick process. I made sure that the lighting was dark but not so dark that nothing could be seen. The background noise was kept to minimal which allowed for smooth recording. I got all of my scenes done the way I had envisioned it but I did make sure to keep practicing so it can be as good as possible.
