Props


Since I have decided to produce a commercial on masks, the main prop was a mask. Other props included a bag and an empty bottle.




Costumes


In my commercial, I had to play the role of a casual person in their average day to day life therefore I just wore a shirt and some shorts. In a different role I had to act as a germ so I got a piece of paper and colored it green for the germ.I would wear a a shirt over my head in order to symbolize longer hair. If I had no clean shirts left for the part, I had a black colored sheet of paper.






Schedule


On 10/8 I established the costume for germ and longer haired person


On 10/11 I will start to edit


On  10/12 I will attempt to finish editing


On 10/16 I will try to polish up anything and make last minute additions








Location List:


The main location was outside a neighborhood specifically near a sidewalk. At said sidewalk I was filmed walking and after having bumped into someone who was sick. The sick person shows very early on how a mask plays a role in the commercial. I also filmed myself jumping.




The second Location was at a park with a table and chairs. At this location I would film multiple people hanging out together. This helps show the spread of germs and another early way of showing of the role of a mask.




Update: I did not get to use the park as it rained every time I was available to film

                                               AICE Media Studies Group Blog For this project I will be working by myself. This decision was mostly because I do not know anyone well and have not made a friend yet at this school. At first I considered it a downside.With a group we could split up the work and would require me to do less and focus on other things simultaneously. As a result of being alone it would cause me to have to do a lot of things on my own and getting adjusted to with certain tasks. The filming Homestretch(Production Blog) AICE Media Studies

 On Thursday, the 9th I started putting on the finishing touches to everything I had already filmed. At this point I have done all the  filming  by myself. I improved a lot on dancing and acting but now was the time to start to finish up. Slowly but surely I was able to get the hand of my steps and sins. I was able to have all the costumes prepared and ready to go. At this point all the props had fulfilled their purpose. I had all the clothing I needed to change into neat me for an easy and quick process. I made sure that the lighting was dark but not so dark that nothing could be seen. The background noise was kept to minimal which allowed for smooth recording. I got all of my scenes done the way I had envisioned it but I did make sure to keep practicing so it can be as good as possible.
