Title Website Research
First site: https://www.artofthetitle.com/
The first site I chose to research title sequences was "Art of the Title." This site is dedicated to films, TV shows, and other media. This is somewhat popular site as they they have thousands of followers across all their social media accounts. The website is ran by full time writer, Lola Landekic. I chose this website because of its large amount of content. This website has information about title sequences such as how it was created and where the full project is being streamed. It also shows the videos of the title sequence in amazing quality. Another nice thing is that they rank the best ones of the year for their audience to see. Best of all it includes multiple different genres like thriller or horror, or animation to show many examples of how popular studios make them.
Second site: https://www.watchthetitles.com/
My second choice for a site to research title sequences was "Watch the Titles!". This site is focused on the art of title designs and the people who made them. This site features hundreds of title sequences for a multitude of genres. There is also behind-the-scenes content and interviews which include things like the idea behind the title sequence. This site started as a collection of a few titles and had been worked on since 2004. I chose this site because this allows us to see the behind the scenes of making the title sequences. This is a huge advantage because otherwise I would have had no idea on what I could do for my title sequences. I will watch the interviews and take inspiration from them . They also had wide varieties of content. It has movies, but it also has other media like video games, and TV shows.
